Meetings for the Gary Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. are held on the third Saturday of each month (September – June) @ 12pm. Please contact the chapter for the meeting location.
Meetings of the Gary Alumnae Chapter are only open to the duly initiated members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Consequently, proof of membership is required and must be verified before admittance to chapter meetings is granted. Accordingly, visiting Deltas must be prepared to present their membership cards or credentials and photo identification to the Gary Alumnae Sergeant-At-Arms upon arrival. First time visitors are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early as credentials are verified prior to admitting visiting members and new members into the meeting.

Chapter members and visiting Deltas are required to wear appropriate business attire.

WHAT IS BUSINESS ATTIRE?

Δ Business attire is traditionally a business suit or other clothing that reflects a professional style.Δ Pants must be full length. Capris, leggings, cropped pants, or Gauchos are not allowed. Jackets, blouses, T-shirts or sweaters classified as paraphernalia are not allowed. A blazer with a Delta Crest allowed. Δ Flip flops, foam bottomed shoes or beach shoes are not allowed. Denim attire and baseball style caps are not allowed. Δ Please refer to the Ritual, Protocol and Traditions Manual for other attire guidelines.

Reminder on Requirements:
Visiting Deltas must bring the following:
1. DST Membership ID
2. DST Membership Certificate
3. Picture Identification

Attire: Business Attire at all meetings- Deltas only (please no children)
