Since 1936 our chapter, then known as Beta Nu, has shown dedication to the Northwest Indiana community. The Five Point Programmatic Thrust of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness, Physical and Mental Health and Social Awareness and Involvement, has been the cornerstone of our active involvement.
Gary Alumnae Chapter ever poised for committed service identifies and addresses the needs of communities through the implementation of programs and projects which touch lives while uplifting hearts. Through strategic planning, committed strategy, creative implementation, on-going evaluation and God-centered compassion, Gary Alumnae’s dedicated service is realized from Hammond to Valparaiso, and in all communities between.
